Today story is manifest in many forms; through imagery, writing, motion picture, music, narration, animation... And that's what's great about Mudboard - it allows everybody to share their creativity - their story - in the one place.

Inspire
BACK TO THE TOPWhat does 'Inspired By' mean?
'Inspired By' means that a creation in view was inspired, in whole or in part, by another work existing in Mudboard. Check the Creative Commons License on a work, to see if derivatives of the work are permitted.
What does 'Has Inspired' mean?
'Has Inspired' means that a creation in view has inspired, in whole or in part, the creation of another work in Mudboard
How does the inspired by/ has inspired list of creations work?
When you have linked your creation to another user's creation, in Mudboard we call that 'Inspired By'. If somebody has linked their creation to yours we call it 'Has Inspired'. So, for example, a user may upload an idea for a film and another user may see that idea and be inspired to write a short story, and link their short story to the idea.
When viewing a public creation a list of 'Inspired By' and 'Has Inspired' creations is available. So in the example if the idea was being viewed, the 'Has Inspired' list would include the short story.

BACK TO THE TOPWhat is rating?
The rating system allows you to rate a public creation in Mudboard. You can rate a creation as wow, nice one or needs work.
Why should I rate something?
Rating provides the creator of work feedback as to what the community thinks of their work. If something is rated as 'wow' or 'nice one' it could inspire other users, as well as the creator of the work. If something is rated as 'needs work' this can also inspire others to build on a work to improve it, or for the creator themself to improve their work. All in all rating is meant to have a positive effect, and is not intended just to put someone on a pedestal or to put them down.
How do I rate something?
Rating is simple. Click on the desired rating option and Mudboard will do the rest. You can cancel or change your rating at any time.
I am trying to rate something but can't?
