Who are we?

We are Nicholas Ross and Nalinda Karunaratna, the founders of Mudboard.
We also have a small team of developers, who have dedicated, in the last couple of years, their heart and soul in to making Mudboard reality.

Why have we done it?

We have created Mudboard based on the notion that people with different skill sets and creative ability like to create original work, but have no place where they can show their creativity to a global audience. As humans we like to be inspired and we like to inspire others. We also have a deeper feeling of personal fulfilment if we create something that has taken time and effort - even blood, sweat and tears - and can then show it off to somebody else. Consider the difference in feeling between the sustained pleasure of going to the market, buying fresh ingredients, spending all afternoon cooking and then savouring the resulting creation against the impulse thrill of consuming fast food. We will talk about the meal in the weeks to come, how we got there, the difficulties, the pleasures, the incredible flavours and smells. The story will inspire others to cook. The story of the fast food will be quickly forgotten, if recalled at all. Some sites today are fast food. Our vision is for you to create the meal.

Who has inspired us?

• All those people who like to create but have had to lock away their ideas because there is no way to share them with other people.
• All those people that want to collaborate on creations with other people, from anywhere in the world, but have no means to do it.
• All those creative people that are incredibly talented but have no visibility because creativity and success seem to be given to such few.

Creative people everywhere - let's promote mass talent, not mass marketing.
